Successful editor Will (Craig) retires in order to spend more time with his wife, Libby (Weisz), and two young daughters living in their new house in the suburbs. Rather than focus on his lovely family, he becomes intrigued by strange disturbances in the house and by his neighbour, Anne (Watts). Will soon finds out about his house being the spot where five years earlier a man named Peter Ward murdered his wife and two daughters.
Failure of a film from Irish director Sheridan, better known for real-life inspired projects My Left Foot, In the Name of the Father and In America, who struggles to make a complete film as the storyline wavers through different ideas and visions. It's apparent that there was production difficulties including an incomplete script and it's also said that Sheridan and producer James G. Robinson (Ace Ventura, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves) did not get along.
